Mr. Jones is the Community Engagement Director for Southside Community Health Services (SCHS). He has been involved in working with low-income, non-custodial fathers and families, young adolescent males on male responsibility issues, and has been involved in various community projects associated with youth development for more than 25 years. He has facilitated cultural diversity trainings both nationally and internationally. Recently, his work has expanded to include helping New American/Immigrant fathers to be positively engaged with their acculturated families and our social systems. Clarence is active on several community boards, serves as the co-chair for the City of Minneapolis Public Health Advisory Committee (PHAC), the Minnesota Barbers Board, Pan African Community Endowment Fund (PACE), and has served on other boards in various capacities. He has both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Concordia University in Saint Paul, Minnesota and currently attends the University of Minnesota School of Public Health for Maternal Child Health.
