Dr. Graber is a survey methodologist who joined the National Children's Study Program Office in 2008. She came to the NCS from NORC at the University of Chicago where she conducted large-scale, multi-disciplinary, population-based, health research. Dr. Graber was part of the team who developed and implemented the first wave of the National Social Life, Health and Aging Project (NSHAP), a longitudinal study of the impact of social support and social interaction on health and aging. She holds particular interest in methodological issues related to field data collection operations and nonresponse. Dr. Graber holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and completed a National Cancer Institute funded post-doctoral fellowship at the Health Research and Policy Centers at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
