Meeting Objectives of the June 2003 NCSAC Meeting
To provide recommendations on newly proposed hypotheses. Discussion will focus on review and decisions regarding hypotheses submitted from various Working Groups. Presentations will be offered by the Director of NICHD, and representatives from Office of Public Liaison, NICHD, and the March of Dimes. Discussion will also include updates regarding development of effective procedures for managing the study, processes to ensure effective communication, updates of protocol development, discussions regarding sampling strategies, and modifications to the study timeline.
Working Groups will offer presentations of the following:
- Issues relating to the progress of the study
- Issues relating to racism
- Ethical issues
